Digital Asset Market Clarity Act (CLARITY Act), H.R. 3633
The US crypto market-structure bill, meant to set out how digital assets and the firms that trade and hold them are regulated at federal level. It passed the House in July 2025 and cleared the Senate Banking Committee in May 2026, but a Senate cloture vote to take it up failed 49-50 on 15 September 2026. It stays on the Senate calendar and could return, but passage in 2026 looks unlikely.
