Terms and data use

Plain-English terms for using Frontier Adoption. In short: read it, link to it, quote it with credit; don't copy the database; check the sources before relying on it.

What you can do

Read any page, link to it, and quote short extracts or individual facts with a credit and a link, for example “Source: Frontier Adoption, frontieradoption.com/deployments/…”. Use it in your own research, reports and presentations on that basis.

What needs permission

The register as a whole (its selection of deployments, structure, classifications, evidence grades, links between records, summaries and analysis) is protected by copyright and by database rights. Please don't copy, scrape, download in bulk, or republish a substantial part of it, and don't use it to build a competing database or to train machine-learning models, without written permission. If you want data for research or another purpose, ask; we're open to it.

Sources belong to their publishers

We link to original sources and summarise them in our own words. The sources themselves belong to their publishers and are subject to their own terms.

Not advice

This is an independent information resource. Nothing here is investment, legal, regulatory or professional advice, or a recommendation about any organisation, product or asset. Analysis sections, including value cases, are simplified and partly theoretical; they are labelled as such, and real implementations vary.

Statuses and grades are our assessment

Statuses (such as pilot, live or inactive), evidence grades, classifications and “likely relevant” regulation links are our own assessment of the public sources cited, as at the date shown on each record. They are not statements by, or made on behalf of, the organisations concerned, and an organisation may describe its own work differently. Where a source is press reporting rather than an official publication, the record says so.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep every claim sourced and current, and show when each record was last reviewed, but we can't guarantee that everything is complete, correct or up to date. Please check the original sources before relying on anything.

How the register is compiled

Records are researched from public sources with the help of AI tools. Every claim must link to a cited source (the site's build rejects any that don't), and judgement calls are reviewed by a person before they are published. See the methodology for how statuses and grades are assigned.

Corrections and right of reply

If you think something is wrong, including if you represent an organisation listed here, please tell us, ideally with a source. We review requests as soon as reasonably practicable, and when we change a record its “last reviewed” date is updated.

Independence

Frontier Adoption is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any organisation, network or regulator listed, and inclusion is not an endorsement or a criticism. Names and trade marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

Links to other sites

We link to sources and other sites for reference. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or availability.

Liability

This site and its data are provided free, “as is” and for general information only. To the fullest extent the law allows, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, anything on this site, including errors or omissions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Privacy

See privacy for the cookie-free visit counting we do.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

These terms may change; the current version is always on this page.
