BOCI tokenised structured notes on Ethereum (UBS Tokenize)New
BOC International, Bank of China's investment banking arm, issues fully digital structured notes registered on the public Ethereum blockchain using UBS Tokenize. The first, a CNH 200 million issue in June 2023 under Hong Kong and Swiss law, was originated by UBS and placed with UBS clients in Asia Pacific, and was the first tokenised security from a Chinese financial institution in Hong Kong. UBS says BOCI has kept issuing regularly on the platform since.
