Taurus Digital Exchange (TDX) marketplace for tokenised securitiesNew
TDX is the marketplace for tokenised securities and private assets that Taurus runs in Switzerland as an organised trading facility under a FINMA securities firm licence granted in April 2021. Trading opened in May 2021 with Audacia Holding's tokenised shares as the first admitted security, with banks such as Hypothekarbank Lenzburg and SEBA (now AMINA) Bank among the first participants. FINMA allowed retail clients in January 2024, when Taurus also named further issuers including Investis, la Mobilière, Qoqa, SCCF, Swissroc and Teylor. From September 2024 a partnership with Aktionariat opened a route for Ethereum-based tokenised shares of Swiss SMEs, starting with RealUnit. Taurus publishes no trading volumes.
Live (limited) since 10 May 2021[1] — Operating since 2021 with a small set of private issuers; no volume, issuer count or holder figures published. · Reviewed 13d ago
