PayPal's Pay with Crypto lets US merchants take payment in more than 100 cryptocurrencies from wallets such as Coinbase, MetaMask and Phantom, with the proceeds converted straight into PayPal's PYUSD stablecoin or dollars at a 0.99% transaction rate. Merchants can hold PYUSD with PayPal and pay freelancers and suppliers in it, including PYUSD payouts to Solana wallets. Announced in July 2025, it is now offered to verified US business accounts through PayPal's checkout API; PayPal has not published volumes.
