Vonovia's EUR 20 million three-year registered bond of January 2021, represented only by security tokens (VNA1) on the public Stellar blockchain. It was placed privately through the firstwire debt marketplace with M.M. Warburg as investor, and Bitbond supplied the tokenisation and custody technology. It came just before Germany's Electronic Securities Act and was among the first German corporate bonds issued on a public blockchain. On its three-year term it would have matured around early 2024.
