Privacy-focused public blockchain using zero-knowledge proofs for selective disclosure, with the NIGHT token generating the DUST resource that pays for transactions. Mainnet launched in March 2026 with a federated set of node operators (including Google Cloud, Blockdaemon, MoneyGram, Worldpay, eToro and Bullish), which the Midnight Foundation plans to open to wider block production.
