DL3S full DLT interoperability (Banque de France)New

One of the three solutions in the Eurosystem's 2024 wholesale DLT trials: transactions on a market DLT platform settle against central bank money held in DLT-based accounts on DL3S, the Banque de France's own ledger. Euroclear and the Banque de France co-designed the link to Euroclear's D-FMI, first used for Caisse des Dépôts' EUR 100 million note, and Société Générale swapped Ethereum-issued bonds for DL3S central bank money in a repo with the Banque de France. The trials ended in November 2024 and the approach was folded into Pontes.

How it works: Atomic swap or settlement · Trust: Single operator · Website
