Eurosystem PontesNew

The Eurosystem's link between market DLT platforms and its TARGET services, so that wholesale tokenised transactions settle in euro central bank money. Participants settle either with cash tokens on the Eurosystem's own DLT platform or in T2, and delivery-versus-payment and other all-or-nothing transactions are synchronised across platforms with a hash-link protocol. It merges the three interoperability solutions trialled in 2024 and went live on 21 September 2026 with four registered market DLT operators (Axiology, Cashlink, Clearstream and SWIAT). Only the Eurosystem platform, T2 and the operators' ledgers already in the register are listed; the ECB names the operators, not their platforms, so SWIAT, Clearstream's D7 and Axiology's DLT TSS ledger are listed as each operator's DLT platform.

How it works: Synchronised settlement, Off-chain gateway · Trust: Single operator · Website
