A7A5 rouble stablecoinNew
A rouble-backed token issued by Old Vector, a Kyrgyzstani firm, and created for Russian customers of A7, a Russian cross-border settlement firm that the US Treasury says is owned by Ilan Shor and the Russian bank Promsvyazbank. After law enforcement shut down the Garantex exchange in March 2025, Garantex used A7A5 to move its customers' funds to its successor Grinex. On 14 August 2025 the US Treasury's OFAC designated Old Vector, A7 and its subsidiaries. About RUB 47 billion was in circulation in October 2026, almost all on TRON.
Live (scaled) since 21 May 2025[1] — First supply in DefiLlama's series (RUB 11.5bn); in use on Garantex before March 2025 per the US Treasury. Openly transferable on TRON and Ethereum. · Reviewed 13d ago
