Coins.ph PHPC Philippine peso stablecoinNew
A Philippine peso stablecoin issued by Coins.ph (Betur Inc), a virtual asset service provider and e-money issuer regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. It was launched in 2024 inside the BSP's regulatory sandbox and, after meeting the central bank's test targets, moved out of the sandbox in June 2025, with commitments to disclose holders, report to the BSP and have reserves and contracts audited. Each token targets one peso and is backed by cash, time deposits and short-term money market instruments held in Philippine banks. Coins.ph promotes it for remittances and cross-border transfers. Its white paper names Polygon and Ronin (press also reports Solana). No supply figure has been published.
