DTCC Smart NAV pilot (fund NAV data on chain with Chainlink)New
A DTCC pilot with Chainlink and ten market participants that tested an on-chain extension of DTCC's Mutual Fund Profile Service I, the industry feed for fund prices and rates (NAV data). DTCC acted as data source and governor of the on-chain set-up and Chainlink's CCIP carried the data to blockchains in a chain-agnostic way. The May 2024 report concluded that structured NAV data on chain could support tokenised funds and smart contracts that hold data for many funds, and suggested extending the scope; no production service has been announced.
Inactive · concluded as planned since May 2024[1] — A time-limited data-delivery test (no tokenised fund) that ended with its May 2024 report. · Reviewed 13d ago
