NYSE tokenised securities trading platformUpdated 6 Nov 2026
NYSE, owned by ICE, is building a venue for tokenised shares that are fungible with ordinary shares and for natively digital securities, combining its matching engine with blockchain post-trade, 24/7 trading, dollar-sized orders and stablecoin funding. An April 2026 rule change lets eligible tokenised stocks and ETFs trade on NYSE's existing book with DTC tokenising after T+1 settlement; NYSE Arca, American, National and Texas filed matching rules in May 2026. Securitize is design partner and digital transfer agent. No live trading had been reported by October 2026.
Announced since 20 Jan 2026[1] — Rule in effect but NYSE must give 30 days' notice before tokenised trading starts; no launch found. · Reviewed 21d ago
