Quantoz EURQ euro stablecoinNew

A euro e-money token issued under MiCA by Quantoz Payments, a Dutch electronic money institution supervised by De Nederlandsche Bank. EURQ launched on Ethereum in November 2024 alongside a dollar token (USDQ), with Tether, Kraken and Fabric Ventures investing in Quantoz and Kraken and Bitfinex listing the tokens. It is now issued on Ethereum, Polygon, Algorand, Stellar and the XRP Ledger, with reserves held through a separate foundation (Stichting Quantoz) at several European banks. About 8 million EURQ were in circulation in October 2026.
