Euro (EURR) and US dollar (USDR) e-money tokens issued under MiCA by StablR Ltd, a Maltese financial institution supervised by the MFSA, on Ethereum (both) and Solana (EURR), with Tether's Hadron platform behind its infrastructure. Business clients mint and redeem through a StablR account or API, and the tokens were listed on exchanges such as Kraken, Bitfinex and Bit2Me. On 23-24 May 2026 an attacker gained access to part of StablR's infrastructure and minted about 6.41 million EURR and 14.33 million USDR without payment; StablR suspended minting and redemption, asked exchanges to halt trading, deposits and withdrawals, and activated its recovery plan under MFSA oversight. As of the latest notice (25 August 2026) services remained suspended; StablR says properly issued tokens are still backed by segregated reserves.
