A pound sterling stablecoin for institutions and businesses, issued by Agant Finance Limited, which registered with the FCA as a cryptoasset firm in February 2026. GBPA is fully backed and redeemable one-to-one; Clear Junction's FCA-registered crypto arm distributes it to institutional clients and its e-money institution handles the sterling flows for issuance and redemption. Tokens first appeared on-chain in June 2026 and GBPA went live on Circle's Arc network at its public mainnet launch in September 2026, as the third currency on Circle's StableFX on-chain FX service after USDC and EURC. About GBP 1.9 million was in circulation in October 2026 across Ethereum, Arc, Base, Tempo and Solana.
