UK cryptoasset regulatory regime (FSMA cryptoasset activities)

The UK's framework bringing cryptoasset activity inside the Financial Services and Markets Act. The FCA finalised its rules in June 2026. Firms need FCA authorisation from 25 October 2027; the application window opened on 30 September 2026.
