A euro e-money token issued by Monerium, an Icelandic electronic money institution authorised since 2019 and passported across the EEA, with a MiCA white paper notified in January 2026. Holders with a Monerium account mint and redeem through SEPA bank transfers linked to an IBAN. EURe runs on Ethereum, Gnosis, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Linea and Noble (also Scroll and Camino), with most supply on Gnosis Chain. Monerium's white paper puts cumulative on-chain EURe turnover at EUR 2.6 billion by 2024; about 29 million EURe were in circulation in October 2026.
