Circle Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP)Updated 14 Oct 2026

Circle's permissionless on-chain utility that moves USDC natively between blockchains: USDC is burned on the source chain and, once Circle's attestation service signs the burn, minted on the destination, with no wrapped tokens or liquidity pools. Fast and standard transfer modes; an extension covers EURC and registered third-party tokens. Circle lists 32 mainnet domains in October 2026; on BNB Smart Chain it carries only Circle's USYC fund token (to and from Ethereum). Noble is supported on the legacy version only. Domains not yet in the register (e.g. Codex) are left out.
